Piazza Rondanini is very close to the Pantheon. Taverna le Coppelle is a great pizzeria on via delle Coppelle. There is a supermarket on Via Giustiniani with everything you need for a week in the apartment.

Rondanini 29 - we loved staying in this apartment! You know it's good when you hate to leave...
The hall is lined with beautiful closets cleverly decorated to match the space. The closets have hanging space plus shelves, and also drawers. You push the mirrored doors to open and close - makes a nice seamless space.

Rondanini 29 - there are beautiful sliding door panels to close off the efficiency kitchen. We had it open all the time. The refrigerator is on the far left, behind the stacked door panels. Used the washing machine once. The dishwasher is on the left of the oven. Another nice design, it looks like a cabinet!
The couch makes into a bed, we used that to kick back and watch TV when burnt out due to jet lag

The two paneled doors on the far left are a storage cabinet above, and a refrigerator below. The sliding door panels are glass with handmade brass designs in between the glass. Just beautiful!

Rondanini 29 - bedroom wasn't huge, but held a very comfortable queen size bed, two nightstands and a large bureau for clothes. Ceiling fan was nice and quiet, although we didn't need to have it on at night. Moved the chair out to the hall to keep from walking into it. Slept GREAT here

Rondanini 29 - the couch makes into a double/queen size bed - the couch itself is much bigger than the hide-a-bed inside it. There's a small TV on top of a buffet against the wall between the two windows (not shown).

Palazzo Guardati - room 105 - we had some problems with the toilet the last 2 nights. Eventually had to turn the water off the last night because couldn't stop it running. Staff tried but couldn't fix it.

Palazzo Guardati - walk down tiny ally to entrance. The room was lovely but a bit warm at first even with air conditioning. You couldn't have the windows open at night due to the noise, but with windows closed it was quiet except for Saturday night. Saturday was very noisy until very late because of the live band at the cafe. The only other noise was from the restaurant below the room where there was odd pounding after the restaurant closed. That was every night, but stopped after a bit.

First Hotel - room 402 - DON'T get a king bed, it jiggles like jello. We had requested twin beds but were too tired to complain. Wish I had, neither of us slept well - I tried the floor for a few hours. Good grief. Best thing about our stay was the fabulous food at the Trattoria next door
